Shift = Varies from 7:50-4:40 for opening and 9:00-6:00 for closing (and there are shifts in between)

Pay $22.00 / hour

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID
  3. Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
  4. 6+ months recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
  5. Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Associates degree or higher college education
  2. 2+ years’ recent experience working as a Patient Service Representative
  3. Experience with CS-Link/Epic
  4. Understanding of medical terminology

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone
  2. Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate
  3. Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments
  4. Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic
  5. Schedule appointments and complete patient registration
  6. Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types
  7. Handle patient/provider correspondence
  8. Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients
  9. Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines
